Resolved, that the Treasurer is directed to distribute up to $125,450.00 from Trust Fund 649, the William Schubael Conant Fund, to the following 13 recipients for the academic year 2020-2021:

Explanation
Conant Grant funds are provided for the improvement of seminary-based theological education. Specifically, the grants are directed for the support of theologically academic research, textbook preparation, and course development undertaken by faculty members, normally during a sabbatical break, at the recognized Episcopal seminaries in the United States.
The request has been received from the Conant Trust Grant Review Committee. Members are: The Rt. Rev. Brian Thom; The Rev. Canon Anne Kitch; Canon Dr. Steven Nishibayshi; and The Rt. Rev. Dabney Smith; with the assistance of Ms. Ann Hercules, DFMS Staff Member.
The Committee received 15 applications totaling $139,834.
Recipients will be notified that implementation of their grants must conform to any and all regulations related to COVID-19 that may exist at the time of implementation.
