Resolved, that the Executive Committee of Executive Council authorizes the Treasurer to provide $385,178.40 in support of students identified in the attached schedules; and be it further Resolved, that funding of the awards is to be provided from trust funds identified in the attached schedules.
Explanation
From the 144 applications received, the Scholarship Committee is recommending awards to 131 students (including an award for a group of 10) after reviewing the recommendations of sub-committees for each category of scholarships. Applications were higher than last year, when we received 137 applications. The on-line application significantly enhanced the review process.
