Express Gratitude to the Rev. Canon Michael Barlowe, D.D.
Resolution text
Resolved, that the Executive Council, meeting in Raleigh, NC, April 18-20 expresses its profound gratitude to the Rev. Canon Michael Barlowe, D.D., for his faithful service to the Executive Council, on the occasion of his final Executive Council meeting as Executive Officer and Secretary of the General Convention. And be it further;
Resolved, that the Executive Council acknowledges with appreciation his diligent work, vibrant faith, keen intellect, and persistent good humor. And be it further;
Resolved, that the Executive Council acknowledges that there remain several intense months of work for Michael and the General Convention Office staff before he can look forward to a happy and productive retirement with his spouse, the Rev. Paul Burrows, but we wish to express our great thanks for the myriad ways that his many gifts and hard work have been a blessing specifically to the Executive Council as we prepare to bid him farewell.
